Did Eno Barony Copy Trey La’s “If Jesus were a girl” for her latest “God is a woman”?


Prolific and deep Ghanaian rapper Trey La raises the alarm about what may look like an idea theft for his just released song “If Jesus were a girl”.

Trey was in the news not long ago after American rapper Fat Joe appreciated his music.

The MBA holder, after researching about the subject of “gender based discrimination” saw the need to use his gift of the gab and rapping for the role of “affirmative action” to the benefit of women. Hence the release of “If Jesus were a girl.”

In his words “as my maternal family has more ladies than men,I had the privilege of getting a closer look at women and appreciating how special,strong and powerful they could be. Although “This is a man’s world” like James Brown sang,things might be better if women had the chance to grow”.

He released this masterpiece on the 25th of December 2020 only to see Eno Barony release “God is a woman” after some days.

Now the golden question is who took inspiration from whom or is this a coincidence?
