Drogba Transforms A School Under Sheds To School In Blocks


Former Ivory Coast International and Chelsea star, Didier Drogba has transformed a school unit that was housed under sheds to a modern facility in a village called Kouamekro in Ivory Coast.

The school block, which was named EPP (Ecole Priamire Publique ie Public Primary School) Didier Drogba formed part of the ex-footballer’s philanthropic activities in his home country.

Drogba is widely known and appreciated by the people of Ivory Coast for his passion and dedication towards his country, especially in areas such as peace and development.

Drogba’s popularly in the country shot up was when he led his fellow Ivorian footballers on live TV to beg warring factions in the civil war that broke in 2002 to give peace a chance after securing a win for the country’s first World Cup appearance.
