Kuami Eugene finally reveals the reason behind his success and early rise to stardom

Ghanaian hip life musician and reigning artist of the year, Kuami Eugene has disclosed his secret to success in an exclusive interview with DJ Adviser on the Ayekoo After Drive Show on Happy 98.9 FM.

According to the ‘Open Gate’ hit maker, he used to sleep in her mothers kitchen when he was much younger; in the kitchen, he wrote songs and made beats.

He further stated that, he already recorded some of his monster songs before Richie of Lynx Entertainment signed him onto his record label.

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I USED TO SLEEP IN MY MOTHER’S KITCHEN BECAUSE MY ROOM WAS CLOSE TO THE KITCHEN. I’LL WAKE UP AT DAWN TO WRITE SONGS AND MAKE BEATS THERE

When Richie signed me, I already had most of my songs on a pen drive. I already even have the chorus of most of the songs I am featured on. I just go through my chorus and pick one that fits into the song

It is just hard work and I prepare myself for every opportunity that comes my way

The talented musician also cited his ambassadorial position for Adonko and Itel as one of his major preparations for opportunities.

Not long after recording the song, Itel came and asked me for a song and I gave it to them.
