Mahama Charges Parliament to Investigate Military Invasion, Carlos Ahenkorah’s Attitude In The August House

Former President John Dramani Mahama has charged Parliament to conduct an investigation into the military’s unwelcoming invasion and Tema West MP, Carlos Ahenkorah’s snatching of ballot in Parliament this morning.

According to Mr. Mahama, the sudden militarisation of our democratic dispensation has become a major worry to all as it appears that the government is bent on instituting some sort of military rule in the government.

He also made mention of the uncouth behaviour of the Tema West Lawmaker, Carlos Ahenkorah who sought to mar the election of the Speaker of the 8th Parliament in the 4th republic.

The former President therefore called on the August House to swiftly take action against the unfortunate incidents in order to restore the dignity of the House.
