Mahama Suspends Tour Over Missing NDC Members’ Names From Voters Register

The former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has suspended his nationwide campaign tour over challenges faced by his party members whose names are missing from the new voter register.

HE Mahama was currently touring the Bono Region after a tour of the Bono East Region.

However, following various calls by members of the NDC that their names were somehow missing from the Voter’s register; a claim which was reinforced by NDC MP for Ashaiman, Ernest Norgbey and Minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu, the former President announced an abrupt end to his campaign.

In post made via twitter, former President Mahama noted that he has suspended his campaign tour and is on his way to Accra to address the media on the issue.
