Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe has congratulated the President for his timely intervention on having the 14 students pardoned and WASSCE ban reversed.
According to Franklin Cudjoe, the president’s decision in this sense can be best likened to what responsible fathers do in such circumstances.
He said, ‘I think the president did well by intervening have the students who gravely insulted and abused his person pardon to enable them write exams at least. This is what responsible fathers do.’
Mr. Cudjoe went on further to liken the first gentleman of the land’s decision to former President John Mahama’s exercise of clemency on the infamous Montie 3 saga that rocked the country, stating that the two situations are the same.
‘..It is no different from JM’s décision to show clemency to the vagabond Muntie 3 after thousands signed a petition for that outcome,’ he expressed freely.
