National Communication Officer of the opposition NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, has dragged NPP stalwart and cousin to the president, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko for mocking the NDC’s Rescue Mission’s campaign.

Mr. Otchere-Darko shared a photo of Sammy Gyamfi on Facebook with the caption “Was this picture taken in 2014 when President John Mahama dialed the IMF to come and rescue the Ghanaian economy for him? Most probable. At least, let’s attempt to craft campaign messages that have a chance of being believed based on our own competences.”

However, this did not sit down well with the communication expert who fired back at the president’s cousins without mincing words at all.

Using the same platform, the NDC senior member stated that the rescue mission agenda is just about taking wheels back from Gabby’s corrupt and nepotistic cousin and president of Ghana, HE Akufo-Addo.

He wrote, “No this picture was taken in 2020, when it became imperative that our dear country needs to be rescued from the clutches of your nepotistic and corrupt cousin, President Akufo Addo, who in conjunction with you and other greedy family relatives of yours, have captured every important state asset.”

He further inquired when Gabby and his other cousin and Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta would refund to the state the over 240 billion old Ghana cedis that paid to them from our taxes under the dubious Agyapa deal.
