John Dramani Mahama, National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer has, during a campaign tour in the Upper East Region, noted that President Akufo Addo has a penchant for corruption.

According to him, all allegations of corruptions are related to people who are close to the President, citing the likes of Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, who happens to his (president’s) cousin.
Mr. Mahama mentioned the PDS-ECG scandal where known persons of the president were heard on tape, sharing their shareholding in the deal which saw the country lose millions of Cedis that are yet to be accounted for.

Former President Mahama, in his ending remarks, also mentioned the infamous Agyapa Minerals scandal that has Akufo Addo’s senior associates involved in the mess.
